and such is the sad summation of “The Hook-Up Culture” we live in—from a cartoon! Futurama may not be a comedic gem, but it at least has some decent observations from time to time on the relations of men and women—especially today. If you can find the one where Zoidberg tries to find a mate (Why Must I Be a Crustacean in Love) or the one where Fry and Amy and start dating (Put Your Head on My Shoulders) you’ll know what I mean.
